Course Description: Stitch & Sparkle Transform plain fabric into wearable art! In this bead embroidery for beginner course, you will go from "never held a needle" to "master designer." Bead embroidery is the art of using a needle and thread to sew glass beads onto fabric to create shimmering designs. Whether you want to customize your favorite denim jacket, create a custom patch, or make a piece of wall art, this course is your creative home base.

By the end of this introductory course, students will have transitioned from curious beginners to competent crafters capable of executing foundational beadwork projects. สัปดาห์ที่ 1 :
Week 1: Introduction & Tool Literacy Session A: Understanding materials (Needle sizes, thread types like Nymo vs. Fireline, and fabric stabilizers). Session B: Threading the needle and knotting techniques
สัปดาห์ที่ 2 :
Week 2: Linear Stitches (The Basics) • Session A: The Backstitch (the most vital skill in bead embroidery). • Session B: The Running Stitch and Stem Stitch variations for fluid lines.
สัปดาห์ที่ 3 :
Week 3: Surface Filling & Tension • Session A: Seed bead "filling" techniques (Random/Moss filling vs. Directional filling). • Session B: Controlling tension to prevent fabric puckering.
สัปดาห์ที่ 4 :
Week 4: The Couching Technique • Session A: Working with long strands and "tacking" them down. • Session B: Incorporating heavy or unusual cords.
สัปดาห์ที่ 5 :
Week 5: Adding Height (Stacks & Fringes) • Session A: Building 3D "Stacks" and "Loops." • Session B: Creating basic fringes and drops for movement.
สัปดาห์ที่ 6 :
Week 6: Working with Focal Pieces (Cabochons) • Session A: Gluing vs. securing stones. Introduction to Bezeling (surrounding a stone with beads). • Session B: Using the Peyote Stitch to capture a cabochon.
สัปดาห์ที่ 7 :
Week 7: Midterm Project Lab • Session A & B: Students begin a small "Sampler" patch incorporating all stitches learned so far.

Week 8: Geometric Shapes & Corners • Session A: How to turn sharp 90-degree corners without thread showing. • Session B: Creating perfect circles and radiating patterns.

Week 9: Mixed Media & Sequins • Session A: Combining sequins with beads (Flat seating vs. Vermicelli style). • Session B: Incorporating pearls, crystals, and "found objects."
สัปดาห์ที่ 10 :
Week 10: Shading & Color Theory • Session A: Painting with beads: Creating gradients using different bead finishes. • Session B: Planning a color palette for the final project.
สัปดาห์ที่ 11 :
Week 11: Edge Finishing • Session A: The Brick Stitch edge (The "Professional" finish). • Session B: Picot edges and backing materials (Ultrasuede vs. Leather)
สัปดาห์ที่ 12 :
Week 12: Final Project Design & Prep • Session A: Sketching designs and transferring patterns to fabric. • Session B: Setting up the "Bead Station" and material selection.
